Inter Milan have signed FC Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma, 25, for 18.6 million euros, plus the Portuguese midfielder Pelé, valued at six million. Quaresma's contract is for
three years, during which he will earn a reported 2.5 million euros a year. Porto will receive a possible additional sum of six million euros depending on Quaresma's performance over the course of his contract.
Quaresma's contract with Porto valued rescission at 40 million euros.

has rescinded his contract with the club under the so-called Webster regulation. This states that a player can terminate his contract after three years (two if the player is over 28). Sporting Braga have bought centre back Pablo Contreras, 30, from Celta de Vigo. The Chilean, whose contract is for half a season, has also represented Sporting. He is Braga's third signing this window
after the defender Miguelito and the forward Breno Silva. Leaving the club are veteran Castanheira (Leixões), Hussaine (Boavista), Lenny (Palmeiras) and Vítor Hugo (Maria da Fonte). The club has also bought the 33%
of the rights to Roland Linz, 26, that Boavista still held after the transfer of the Austrian striker in the close season. Linz's pass is valued at six million euros. Braga have also recalled Brazilian
forward Matheus who was on loan to Vitória de Setúbal.
Benfica have paid 2.5 million euros for Romanian left back Laszlo Sepsi from Gloria Bistrita on a three-and-a-half-year contract. Meanwhile, they have sold Brazilian midfielder
Diego Souza, 22, to São Paulo club Palmeiras for four million euros.
Valencia have loaned Manuel Fernandes, 21, to Everton until the end of the season. The former Benfica
midfielder was at Everton during the second half of last season, making 11 appearances and scoring two goals. Fernandes was recently in trouble with the Spanish law after a night-club fracas, also involving Portuguese right back Miguel.
Colombian U-21 left back Bryan Angulo, 18, and Yasser Hussain of Qatar, 23, have been loaned to Boavista
until the summer. The former has been loaned by the Spanish intermediaries Inverfutebol, while the latter comes from Sporting Braga.
FC Porto striker Hélder Postiga is to be loaned to Greek club Panathinaikos, under former Sporting coach José Peseiro, until the end of the season. Postiga has barely figured in
